New York:- Dallas

One thing that yo should keep in mind when reading these emails was the date. I flew out of Sydney on 5 December 2001. Just under three months after September 11. It was a very weird time to be travelling, but I am really glad that I did it, because it was a time that will (hopefully) never be repeated. Oh, and the fact that I have grown up a lot since 2001 :)

This was the inaugral message of my distribution list. I must say that it is much shorter than a most of my recent mails. Maybe now that I am getting older, I am more full of sh*t than before. Heh, can you imagine what I am going to be like when I am 80! (assuming for a moment that I have not been brutally murdered by a spiteful ex-wife who really, really, really wanted the Jag in the settlement). One of the amusing things about looking back on these emails is to see the number of spelling mistakes, particularly after long-haul flights. This is one of the better examples of how business-class should be mandatory!
