August 04, 2004The North saga beginsHey all! I hope everyone is well. Things have been going pretty well here since my life plan for the next two years fell into place. And then the weather got really good. So there are three important things going on right now. Firstly, I have added the first part of my Northern Ireland section under my travel pages. I will continue to update this section, the first bit is my bibliography. Check it out, hopefully you guys can learn something from it as much as I have. Secondly, the Tri-Nations rugby is getting to the pointy end now. In a thrilling match on Saturday, Australia narrowly defeated South Africa to remain in the hunt for the title. Australia play New Zealand this weekend - they have to in this match! So everyone (even Kiwis! You know that you all want to be Aussies) should be cheering for Australia. Thirdly, summer is about to be officially over in the UK - the Premier League starts again! Liverpool are riding high off two good wins in the pre-season, with a new manager, new striker, and what appears to be a rejuvenated team spirit. The first real clash of the season is on next Tuesday, when they play Austrian team Grazer AK. Should be a great match (particularly when Liverpool win 3-1!) Behave yourselves!
